It's besides the point discussed but: FF7 Famicom bootleg a hidden gem?
Maybe in the fan-translated hack version, but in its original Chinese version it is what it is: a crappy pirate with little to no consideration for the original, just one of many games they churned out as fast as they could to capitalize on the name. Just seeing the fan's efforts to make it actually resemble the original game shows the flaws of the bootleg: slow gameplay, awful music poorly ripped from the original FF games, random enemies, no thought map design that doesn't even look like the original game in the slightest. And from some of their other bootlegs we can see they can't even be assed to steal graphics from the right game (Pokemon in Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest and Zelda graphics in "Final Fantasy V").
