Searching for lost dump from old No-Intro forums

Post by LuigiBlood » 24 Mar 2019 13:39

There's a dump from a Game Processor RAM Cassette that I'm looking for but the link goes to old forums that's now dead.

There's some discussions there alongside the original link:
https://board.zsnes.com/phpBB3/viewtopi ... =6&t=10973

I was not able to find it anymore, archive.org does not play along, and no, byuu does not have the dump anymore.
So I wanted to ask if someone here has something about it.

EDIT: Okay I found the thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=632

Still not quite the info there but at least I have some more context.

Yeah I found it. I don't think it's meant for the database because RAM Cassettes are really just user data for a system called the Game Processor, with which you could make SNES games with using a Mario Paint-style editor called Mario Factory. If you guys find that hardware then let me know on the spot :)

Would that be the same as attempting to preserve RPG Maker and Dezaemon save files.
(and any other games with editor functions. I think Puzzle'n (Pazurun?) Desu has one.)

I do recall one effort to save Xband patch data but it was far too late as the modems that they had acquired all had dead batteries, making the patches lost.
