Hi, I just wanted to contribute something, so I checked all the current DAT available on DoM. All the DAT were downloaded with default settings except one thing: wherever possible I downloaded numbered lists. So, my results.

None of lists were able to update.

And only 22 lists showed up as compatible:

Code:
Atari - 5200
Atari - Jaguar
Atari - Lynx
Casio - Loopy
Coleco - ColecoVision
Emerson - Arcadia 2001
Entex - Adventure Vision
GCE - Vectrex
Hartung - Game Master
NEC - PC Engine - TurboGrafx 16
NEC - Super Grafx
Nintendo - Famicom Disk System
Nintendo - Nintendo 64
Nintendo - Pokemon Mini
Nintendo - Virtual Boy
Philips - Videopac+
RCA - Studio II
Sega - 32X
Sega - PICO
Tiger - Game.com
Watara - Supervision
ZZZ_TEST - MD (???)

replaced"<location>unk</location>" to "<location>X</location>" (X in 0..25)
replaced "<language></language>" to "<language>0</language>"
it might work

xuom2, this doesn't work. But good news!

I did small research today on Nintendo DS dat, and found out what causes it imcompatible! :pirate:

This ONE tag:
Code:
<datVersion>#4718+x159</datVersion>

When you replace it with this, everything works:
Code:
<datVersion>123456</datVersion>

OL support only numbers in that tag!

But still have problems. I downloaded numbered list, but roms are not numbered.
