LOL am I the only one that see the paradox situation here? I can't fill the pages of hashes just becase everyone has their preferred

I could show MD5 in "datfile snippet" box and SHA1 in the dump sources and releases. :?

Can't you just please re-add the MD5 line in the "Dump source(s)" section?
It can certainly feature CRC32, MD5 and SHA-1..

Even though refusing to use SHA-1 is silly—it's a 20-year-old hash function that's supported by thousands of programs—it would be a good idea to display the MD5 hash as well. In case there were an incorrect MD5 hash in the database, it could be seen and corrected without having the download the DAT.

Working on unifying dumper names in one specific and common table. Will add another field "project".

In this way we can save info like:
Dumper "unknown"
Project "GoodTools"

Dumper "asapy"
Project "redump.org"

Dumper "asapy"
Project "No-Intro"

Most of this data is already in db, I am working on a mass move in the correct fields.

Then, I will add the privacy rules and the correct ui to manage this data.

It's better if you don't change data on DOM for the next couple of days.
You can do it, but it's more work for me :D
I try this evening to apply changes to db, and tomorrow I will fix the GUI.

The big part is done. I've applied the changes to the database.

Now stuff is shown in this way:

NDS DUMP XYZ
Dumper: aci68
Affiliation: No-Intro
Datter: jimmsu

For each source you can decide to fill the dumper or the project field (or both or none).
You can set unknown dumper and GoodTools project as source of information.
You can set asapy NDS dumper affiliated to No-Intro and asapy PSP dumper affiliated to Redump.org

At the moment "dumper" data is in database but is hidden by default until I unset the privacy flag.
