HTTPS for No-Intro domains?

Post by Whovian9369 » 21 Apr 2018 19:53

Hey gang. I'd like to request that at the "main" sites (at least) like the Forums and DOM become HTTPS by default.

Especially with groups like Let's Encrypt out there, I personally feel like it should be implemented at some point soon.

Just my 2 cents and all!

Whenever there is time to implement, I agree this would be a great feature. They have tried to make it easier so more will adopt, so hopefully it will not be a huge burden :) and probably free with LE?

I'd like to bring up this thread again, since HTTPS is an important thing, even if the site isn't for anything terribly "important" to be kept priate. (Other than the DOM and Forum user information, I mean.)

Trying to visit https://forums.no-intro.org in Firefox gives me a security error:

"The certificate is only valid for the following names: homer.snack-me.de, www.snack-me.de "

https was added to datomatic and wiki.
forums, ereader and main site are on another host and adding https will be done in the future.
