Roms overdumped?

Post by root » 05 Apr 2004 12:30

Rif: 118 Roms overdumped? \ Spikeh on 05th April 2004, 13:30 wrote:

I'm quite new to roms, crc's etc and I have quite a few roms that are bigger than what it supposed to be. For example, my 0031 - Konami Krazy Racers (U), 0056 - Toyrobo Force (J) and 0064 - Pac-Man Collection (U) are all 64Mbit, while in RomCenter with the NoIntro dat it says it should only be 32Mbits. Is this what you call overdump, and how do I fix it?

Also, 0040 - Super Dodgeball Advance (U) has the correct file size but RomCenter can't detect and and I can't find a IPS patch for it either.

Thanks

Well, then can I request some IPS patches?

Yes,that is overdump. You can fix it easily with GBA Tool Advance (GBATA). Of couse we supply lots of ips patches

But the ones that I have is not in that list of IPS patches. Anyhow GBADat Pure seems to detect them but I prefer NoIntro dats.

That's the list so far, I'm downloading all of the roms (for archive and personal use) from http://www.chinagba.com Yea I'm Chinese if you are wondering. It would be selfish to ask you to make IPS patches for all of them so if possible could you tell me how to make them?

Download them again from gba.ouroad.org ,or join bbs.popsoft.org
All roms there are NoIntro version.

Do u update all the changes to those roms in Offline List DAT???
Most of the time I patch my rom, then Offline List No Intro DAT is not up to date, that's why it regcornize those roms as unknown. Hope someone who make OL No Intro DAT will update it.

OL dat authors wait for our changes. then, depending on their free time, they add info to OL/GBAF dats too.
