The Wii Virtual Console releases of Street Fighter II Turbo SNES (USA, Europe, Japan) are all (Rev 1).
The (Europe) (Rev 1) cartridge dump was already available for a long time, and the (USA) (Rev 1) wasn't dumped until 2012.
I think it's safe to say that the (Japan) (Rev 1) also exists and is undumped.

Did anyone ever look for it yet? And could the stamp that is on the top right of the back sticker possibly indicate the revision?

Stamps I've seen on eBay so far:
00
12
19
27
34
35

Looks like it was also released as a Nintendo Power edition on September 30, 1997. It's pretty likely that they used the newer revision for this.
edit: I didn't realize this was a download service with a flash cartridge :P

I'd be happy to throw in some bucks to get this missing version dumped, but I hope there is a way to pinpoint the missing version by looking at the stamp, instead of just buying a bunch of random ones?

I dumped an NP cart containing SF2 Turbo and it was Rev 1.0. The game was written to the cart on 07/31/1998.

Maybe a cart written at a later date might contain the missing Rev 1.1.

Hi, I've been watching eBay listings for the past months and bought several carts, but didn't find any trace of the Rev 1.. I wonder why this revision seemingly never made it to a cartridge and apparently never to NP either, when the other regions did get it.

It is entirely possible that the revision was never released until the Virtual Console. I'll try to go to a Hard Off while I am in Japan and see if they have any copies, though.

I wouldn't conclude that the Rev 1.1 never made it to the NP carts. My cart was written close to the release date for the game. I'd expect the Rev 1.1 to exist on NP carts written at a later date.

If I find any NP carts with the game, then I'll pick it up and dump it. I've seen a few carts for sale but I didn't bother to pick them since I had already dumped the game. I would have picked them up had I known of the existence of the Rev 1.1.

Any other VC SNES JAPAN games with undumped revisions? If there are any, then I'll check for them when dumping NP carts. I've dumped 158 out of the 179 NP games and found 17 new revisions so far.

sanmaiwashi posted details of his SF2 Turbo (Rev 1.0) dump from an NP cart. His Rev 1.0 game was written to the cart on 03/28/2000. If a Rev 1.1 was released then it would be after this date.

The hunt continues...

Thanks for your dedication 8-)

Personally I lost hope of finding any (Rev 1) cartridge.. It's strange though to see it released on Virtual Console but not on cartridge.
