Still been trying to research some Japanese Sega Channel stuff.

I came across this page. and went through them with some other folks in IRC Chats (particularly #sega on badnik.)
It appears to have a list of JP Sega Channel games.

Outrun
Wimbledon
Ex-Ranza
Gunstar Heroes
Kyuukai Douchuuki
Gyanburaa Jikochuushinha
Gain Ground
Columns 3
Side pockets
Super Shinobi 2
Shining Force
Super Volleyball
Super Hang-On
Super Fantasy Zone
Super Monaco GP
Space Harrier 2
Sonic Spinball
Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Dyna Brothers 2 (* Likely referring to Special, which has been obtained)
Chelnov
Party Quiz MEGA Q
Battle Mania
Phantasy Star 3
Phantasy Star 4
Puyo-Puyo
Bare Knuckle 2
Bonanza Brothers
Langrisser

Most the entries seem to be expected 1st-party Sega games.

This site also has some pictures that appear to be from the JP Sega Channel service.

The second one in particular lists Monster World IV, Sonic 3, Chelnov, and Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi.

Hopefully all this is useful.

Since most of my Sega Channel related discussion has been here, I'd just like to post the news on some new prototype/demo dumps;

I've been getting as much info on how to categorize/name the dumps as I could, as well as sorting out differences between versions. Any help here would be nice.

Is there a current list of undumped PAL games? At least here some MIA PAL games:

- PAL: Smurfs REV 0
- PAL: Flashback REV 0
- PAL: Donald starring in Maui Mallard REV 0

How do you recognize Rev 0 with the MD? I own all those games I think and I even have a spare Smurfs cart I could sell cheaply.

I dunno how to ident them if they are currently unknown ;) Can you open the carts? Or do you own a Game Genie? Because the ROMs I dumped have a patch level: http://retroshock.bplaced.net/mdg.html#chiplabels

Smurfs: MPR-17019A (it's already on the undumped list)
Flashback: MPR-15410A
Maui Mallard: MPR-18563A

AFAIK the non-A versions are currently missing.

Thanks Mike. From the XLS-list I own:

- Arnold Palmer (already in my DAT)
- F-22 (already in my DAT)(1)
- Fire Shark (already in my DAT)
- Gain Ground (already in my DAT, different from GoodGen)
- Pac-Panic (already in my DAT)
- Paperboy 2 (already in my DAT)
- Shining Force 1 (on schedule)

(1): F-22 uses one 8-bit ROM wired to d0-d7. I guess the upper part whould contain "random" bus data. For a proper one-file cartridge dump d0-d15 should contain zeros.

For the latter, I thought the Telstar Double Packs (they made a bunch of them for Sega consoles in PAL regions) were simply two games put together in a bigger box.
