Maybe this is an undumped variant of
Tokuten Ryoku Gakushuu DS - Shougakkou Youten Matome (NDS)?

Here you can see both the regular non-1 version and the redesign next to each other:

Re: More undumped information
Someone posted a picture of the ultra rare Famicom "Godzilla Extra Playing" version on Twitter from an auction long ago. First time I ever saw the cart. Rather than being an officially manufactured not for sale cartridge it appears to be a handcrafted version by the developers themselves for internal use.

I'm not on twitter. Can you get a higher resolution version if you are registered?
Here you can find more info about revisions in the database including Twinbee, but if you take a look at the GameBoy section there are also three "versions" of Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru, but those are simply the bad dumps from goodgbx which also have bad checksums. Many of those are also real versions but maybe some other hashes are also caused by the device itself.

Can't find a confirmation of this one. Any pictures?xuom2 wrote:Robot Poncots - Taikenban (Japan).gb

It was on the magazine not-for-sale introduction section
I'm a bit sceptical about all those entries in retrofreak. Some are valid, but skaman already found an issue.xuom2 wrote:TwinBee (Japan) (Rev A).nes

You can get the best image by appending :orig to the image URL, so in this case: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CprzxTlWEAAnlSc.jpg:origBigFred wrote: I'm not on twitter. Can you get a higher resolution version if you are registered?
However, this one was added in this low resolution, so there's no difference.

Re: More undumped information
I'm not at all sure on this but did Seiken Densetsu 2 have more than one mapper variation?
I vaguely recall byuu, being the first to really look at SNES mappers beyond simply "LoROM" and "HiROM", noted that EVO had a rather uncommon mapper. And understandably he wouldn't want to mod a rare and very expensive game for research purposes and someone mentioned SD2 as a far more common game of the same hardware. But I don't remember if it was confirmed all or if there were different mappers of different print runs.
Could be Nintendo Power as well.

Re: More undumped information
I spoke to sanmaiwashi about this one after he posted the IPS. The ROM was ripped from the Wii Virtual Console and not from a cart.xuom2 wrote:undumped?

Re: More undumped information
It should probably be included as a Wii VC dump then unless it can be confirmed as an original hardware release.

Re: More undumped information
This might just be a different packaging, as the "advert" on the front recommends a super game boy color code, i.e. the Game Boy game is not SGB-enhanced.xuom2 wrote:MVP Baseball (Japan).gb rev?
