I've checked to see if the unreleased game, Mystery World Dizzy which is part of the European series Dizzy, to see if the game is in the database. It's not, for some reason. Idk why.

So that's why I'm gonna be posting the all the ROM information of Mystery World Dizzy:

257 KB (262160 bytes)
CRC32: 03124bf3
MD5: bce510e6901972a9fe531b2fb603d80e
SHA1: a0dbcbd3f32c43653205a85a6c4c11983a54b0f3

If you wanna know where the I got the ROM, I got it from here.

Seriously, it perplexes me that the uncovering of this ROM was all over the news, yet no one thought on adding this to the database. I'm sorry, but come on.

Also, there aren't a lot of bootleg NES games in the database either, like Magic Dragon, which is like a bootleg R-Type for the NES (R-Type was never ported to the NES), Super Mario World (NES pirate port), or the Rockman 6 in 1 multicart (info here and here). There could be a lot more unlicensed games that aren't in the database. So, why aren't these in the database? Do you consider them bad dumps or something?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I corrected your data (checksums are without iNES header) and added the game to DoM from the nes rom posted online.

I've assumed no-intro draws a line between unlicensed and pirate.
Magic Dragon is perhaps questionable but Super Mario World is definitely over.

That's how I understand it too. Unlicensed stuff goes into the DB, outright pirated content does not. Though where to draw the line is debatable. Personally, I wouldn't mind including pirated stuff (maybe in a separate dat), but I definitely draw the line with bad dumps. Bad dumps are bad dumps and there is no benefit in keeping them around.
