Has this new game been Dumped? Do you intend to include it in the database?

The game has been dumped for many months. If it is not in the database, I would imagine it is because they haven't got around to it yet.

The rom recently added (CRC32: 44CFA847) was dumped and hacked by team alacant, so it must be deleted.

Otherwise, a member of romshepherd website uploaded some roms dumped by different devices. All roms are headered, and once you remove the header and compare them with an hexadecimal editor all roms match except the .SWC one, which differes four bytes. SWC is the only one with good checksum.

Oops, removed the hacked dump. As for the other dumps, the SWC one has a repaired checksum, and the others have a bad checksum, so it seems none of those dumps is correct? Unless it was shipped with a bad checksum:

Code: Select all

---------------------Internal ROM Info----------------------
File: Unholy Night - The Darkness Hunter (Japan) (En,Ja) (Unl).sfc
       Name: SNES_UNHOLY Company: Unlicensed
     Header: None Bank: LoROM
Interleaved: None SRAM: 16 Kb
Type: Normal + Batt ROM: 32 Mb
    Country: Japan Video: NTSC
ROM Speed: 120ns (FastROM) Revision: 1.0
   Checksum: Bad 0x6DA2 != 0x6CF2   Game Code:
---------------------------Hashes---------------------------
      CRC32: 35F3DF22
--------------------------Database--------------------------
I guess we need a dump from another source to confirm.

It's possible to have shipped with a bad checksum since if the actual SNES console doesn't care (they were basically there because Nintendo demanded them on finished retail games, but this game isn't endorsed by Nintendo), the devs might not have either.

I would agree it is better to have dumps from multiple sources first.
